General Responsibilities:

The Furniture Repair Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, refinishing, and restoring furniture to meet the company's quality standards. This includes preparing items for customer delivery or pick-up by performing expert-level repairs in our shop environment.

Essential Functions:

Accurately match colors and finishes for touch-ups and refinishing.

Utilize knowledge of wood, upholstery, and leather repair techniques.

Operate specialty equipment such as band saws, table saws, steamers, and spray booths.

Ability to cut glass safely and precisely.

Read and understand assembly instructions and assist in training others.

Maintain punctual and consistent attendance for all scheduled shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and correct defects in furniture using advanced techniques, including fillers, burn-ins, color matching, structural repairs, and part replacements.

Apply spray finishes, sealers, and toners to wood case goods with precision and care.

Deliver outstanding customer service in all interactions.

Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Policy Manual.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
