Job Title:Production Worker Location: Coventry - CVD Hours:3 days on, 3 days off - 6 weeks days, 6 weeks nights. 12hrs shifts 7:00am - 7:00pm Duration: Permanent Be part of a team producing world-class carbon brake components. We’re looking for a Production Worker to join our manufacturing team in Coventry, supporting the production of high-performance carbon brake discs. This is a hands-on role working across multiple stages of the manufacturing process, from raw carbon material through to heat-treated finished components. If you enjoy practical work, following structured processes, and working in a safety-focused manufacturing environment, this could be a great opportunity. Responsibilities of the role: As a Production Worker, you’ll be involved in a variety of manufacturing tasks, including: + Operating and monitoring high-temperature furnaces using SCADA (Delta V) systems + Loading and unloading furnaces and carousels + Preparing furnaces and equipment for production + Cutting, laying up, and assembling carbon materials (manual & automated processes) + Building and disassembling jigs and infiltration stacks + Carrying out basic finishing tasks, including AO painting + Supporting assembly activities on the shop floor Skills required: + Experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment + Ability to understand layouts and technical drawings + A hands-on, practical approach to work + Good attention to detail and safety awareness + The ability to work independently and follow procedures + Basic computer skills (data entry, systems, Microsoft tools) + Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset Benefits: Free car parking, Competitive pay package, Career progression opportunities, Pension up to 10% company contribution, Holiday 23 plus stats, Subsidised canteen with Starbucks, Life Assurance, ACIP, (Annual Cash Incentive) Employee Assistance Program for Health & Wellbeing, Employee Perks – offering our employees discounts on a huge variety of goods and services, Income Protection, Business Resource Groups, and Volunteering day off.
