Location: Based in the Bay Area (Remote within territory)
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 (DOE)

Position Summary: As the Fundraising Manager for San Francisco team, you'll be the strategic driver of donor-based revenue across the region. You'll be at the helm of multiple donor events and campaigns, cultivating deep relationships with passionate volunteers and sponsors, and collaborating with local and national teams to exceed ambitious growth goals. Revenue Leadership & Strategic Growth
Alongside Executive Director, architect and execute a roadmap for year-over-year fundraising growth across signature events, including community and campus walks, and other emerging fundraising formats.Utilize peer-to-peer (P2P) best practices, implementing innovative techniques to grow both funds raised and participant engagement.Partner with vendors, stakeholders, and internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and mission alignment.Volunteer Mobilization & Engagement
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers, coaching members to own goals and act as ambassadors for the mission.Launch engagement initiatives to cultivate leadership within community teams, emphasizing inclusion in all efforts.Lead event-day operations and develop year-round recognition plans for core volunteers and fundraisers.Stakeholder Relationships
Foster strong relationships with top fundraisers, sponsors, and team captains-ensuring they feel seen, supported, and inspired.Drive sponsorship growth through community networking, cold outreach, and storytelling that demonstrates real-world impact.Qualifications
Required:
4+ years of experience driving results in nonprofit fundraising, ideally in a P2P or event-based model.Volunteer-led initiative success supported by both professional or and personal volunteer experience.Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced, hybrid/remote environments.Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).Preferred:
Familiarity with national nonprofits using affiliate/chapter structures.Hands-on experience with DonorDrive, SharePoint, or similar CRM/event tech.Skilled with Microsoft Suite and social media for campaign promotion.Benefits & Culture Perks
