Job Summary 

As a Vice President – Fund Accounting (NAV) within Fund Accounting Operations, you will lead the end-to-end NAV production process and oversee pre‑NAV checks, exceptions clearing, and client inquiry management. You will act as the team’s subject matter expert and second escalation point, ensuring timely, appropriate escalation of actual or potential delays to supervisors and management. You will drive operational excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across multi‑jurisdictional portfolios

Job Responsibilities

Lead daily NAV production, overseeing pre‑NAV activities, exception clearing, and client inquiry resolution.Establish timely and appropriate escalation of risks, delays, and issues to supervisors and management.Serve as team SME, guiding complex decisions, standards, and best practices.Build and retain key talent; coach, mentor, and develop managers/AVPs and broader teams.Engage senior stakeholders to raise service levels and improve customer satisfaction scores.Partner with Business Transformation and Technology to identify, lead, and execute change initiatives.Drive a culture of continuous improvement to enhance execution quality, efficiency, and consistency.Embed a strong risk and control framework; strengthen policies, procedures, and audit readiness.Define operating policies and guidelines aligned to internal and external control requirements.Communicate clear operational health updates and issue remediation plans to senior management.Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and automation opportunities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

Hold an MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.Minimum 12 years of relevant banking/investment banking operations experience.Lead teams effectively, demonstrating a minimum of 8 years of people management.Manage high‑end institutional clients across jurisdictions, building durable relationships.Drive large transformation programs with strong change leadership and delivery discipline.Analyze complex, ambiguous situations and craft pragmatic solutions with clear strategic implications.Communicate executive‑ready updates with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

Apply deep understanding of the securities/fund accounting lifecycle and custody processes.Utilize experience with reconciliation platforms and data transformation initiatives.Leverage tools such as Alteryx and Tableau to automate reporting and insights.Strengthen risk culture through control testing, policy adherence, and audit engagement.Coordinate cross‑functional TOM changes and assess business/financial impacts.Share knowledge and foster expertise across teams to accelerate capability building.Stay current with operational innovation and industry trends to anticipate client needs.
