Fund Product Implementation Manager – Associate

Join our Product Implementation team and manage, implement fund-related initiatives for Luxembourg and Irish domiciled funds, including AIFs, UCITS, and ETFs. Collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

 

As a Fund Product Implementation Manager – Associate, you will serve as the center of expertise and knowledge for JPMorgan Asset Management's mutual funds business in Luxembourg. In this role, you will be responsible for launching new funds, share classes, mergers, closures, and restructures, coordinating all affected parties globally. Your deliverables will involve activities supported by Transfer Agents, Fund Accountants, Fund Administrators, Depositories, Auditors, code providers, and data vendors, among others. You will operate within the Management Company 18/698 framework and interact with numerous stakeholders globally, including portfolio managers, client-facing teams, operations, control functions, and legal & compliance teams.

 

Job Responsibilities

Spearhead diverse cross-functional work streams to efficiently manage projects and products, focusing on launching new products and enhancing existing offerings.Implement best practices in project management, including scorecards, dashboards, issue logs, and executive reporting. Oversee a portfolio of projects as the Product Implementation Manager.Identify and remove obstacles to ensure the successful delivery of product solutions. Act swiftly to address issues and capitalize on opportunities.Utilize strong partnership skills to engage with internal and external subject matter experts. Foster and maintain long-term relationships with Fund Accountants, Custodians, Auditors, Transfer Agents, and internal business partners such as Product Development, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, and Tax.Facilitate a governance process that supports all necessary tasks for seamless project delivery.Define and document the service structure, and prepare service level agreements, operating memorandums, and relevant workflows to optimize business processes.Navigate unexpected situations to achieve positive outcomes for both the firm and its clients.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

Comprehensive understanding of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) regulations and compliance requirements. This encompasses a thorough knowledge of reporting obligations, risk management standards, and investor protection measures. The ability to effectively navigate and adhere to these regulations is essential to ensure that all end-to-end processes are appropriately designed and implemented for Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). Extensive experience in fund accounting, investment management, or auditing.Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.Demonstrated inclusive leadership skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across diverse groups and regions.Strong team player with the ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.Interpersonal and Problem-Solving SkillsExcellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong problem-solving abilities.A sense of innovation, a strong ability to deliver results, and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience in the ELTIF and/or ETF business and ecosystem is a plus.Familiarity with CSSF 18/698 obligations is an added advantage.
