About the Role
At CSC, we provide regulatory-compliant solutions to both EU and non-EU investment managers as an authorised Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM). Licensed by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI), our AIFM services ensure full compliance with applicable legislation including the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD). We offer fund managers solutions covering risk management, portfolio management, valuation and compliance.
Our Capital and Financial Management team is responsible for:
Valuation of AIF assets and oversight of NAVs. Overseeing financial control and expenses of Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). Monitoring regulatory capital and reporting to key committees, boards and the CBI. Supporting audits and issuing invoices to clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a NAV Analyst, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Supporting the Designated Person (DP) for Capital & Financial Management. Oversight of the NAV reporting received from the Fund Administrator. Conducting portfolio analysis and direct monitoring of AIFs under management. Assisting in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for the AIFM. Managing the AIFM’s invoicing process. Design and implement valuation policies for each AIF. Preparing reports for key committees (Capital & Finance, Valuation, AIFM Board). Onboarding of new clients. Monitoring regulatory capital and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Reviewing AIF financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards. Conducting due diligence on third-party valuation agents. Ad-hoc projects within the AIFM team.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you will need:
3+ years’ experience in a Fund Management Company or Fund Administrator. A degree in Accountancy, Finance or a Business discipline. Experience with the AIFMD regulations would be advantageous. Familiarity with alternative investments and fund structures. Strong understanding of audit, valuation, and financial management processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
