Description Fund Accountant – Venture Capital Firm A dynamic and globally connected venture capital firm is seeking a meticulous and analytical Fund Accountant to join its finance team. This role is essential to maintaining accurate fund reporting, ensuring compliance, and delivering insightful financial analysis across a diverse portfolio of investments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in fund accounting and reporting systems, along with a strong foundation in corporate finance. Key Responsibilities + Review monthly financial statements for venture capital funds and management entities. + Conduct quarterly valuations of fund investments and prepare investor reports. + Coordinate with tax preparers and auditors to support tax filings and audit processes. + Collaborate with international offices to align financial reporting and objectives. + Maintain investment records and legal documentation. + Manage fund cash flow, capital calls, and distributions. + Respond to investor inquiries as needed. Requirements Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or a related field. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and fund reporting software (e.g., E-Front or similar). + Strong communication and presentation skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively with global teams. + CPA preferred but not required. + Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese preferred.
