Location: Pune- Hybrid
Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
. Designing and developing test automation scripts using test automation guidelines.
. Understanding of overall Testing process and experience in Agile Methodology
. Participate in scrum meetings and share our views on tickets for automation scope.
. Experience with programming in languages such as Python/Javascript
. Create and maintain libraries and object repositories for the Automation Framework
. Develop and run manual tests for areas where automated tests are not practical
. Experience in functional testing - coming up with test scenarios, test plan and executing them.
Soft skills required
. Independent problem-solving skills, Good written and verbal communication skills.
. Ability to learn new skills/technologies quickly and independently
. Ability to communicate and deliver effective Automated Test solutions
Required Technical skills
. Experience in creating test scripts by using Python for API/WEB use cases.
. Experience in Python and have good understanding of OOPs concepts.
. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, Python, and tools like GitLab, JIRA, etc.
. Experience in testing frameworks.
. Must have knowledge on Agile process, preferably worked in agile development
. Must have good experience in JIRA and Bug management tools and integrating the same with automation.
. Must have good exposure to life cycle and activities involved in Automation testing.
. Must be aware of creation and maintenance of test data for automation testing
. Experience in design of test and defect reporting formats
. Experience in setting up the test benches, and associated debug systems etc.
. Design, Review & Execution of Test cases/Test Scripts.
. Excellent problem solving skills with good experience on using system analysis and profiling tools for debugging and performance optimizations
. Expert programming skills in Python and Pytest.
Desired Technical skills
. Experience with web service / API test automation
. Experience on CI tools like Gitlab-CI will be added advantage.
. 1 or more programming knowledge experience is good to have
Qualification
. Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Sciences
. 2+ years of relevant technical experience in API Testing using Python
. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on automation experience with API/WEB Automation testing
