Job Description Assist in the development and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications. Execute manual tests to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications. Document and report defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and code inspections to gain exposure to quality assurance processes. Learn and support the use of automated test tools and frameworks under the guidance of senior team members. Analyze test results and provide basic feedback to the team. Contribute to the documentation of testing processes and best practices. Stay informed about basic software testing methodologies and tools. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field. 0-2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, or a related role (internship experience is acceptable). Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to clearly document findings and provide feedback to level appropriate audiences. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and a sense of ownership over assigned duties. Positive attitude along with flexibility, dependability, and excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Passion for video games and an understanding of gaming mechanics and player behaviors. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases. Physical requirements include the ability to: Lift up to 20 lbs. unassisted or assisted occasionally. Stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time. Move between three separate floors as needed.
