**Your role and responsibilities**
We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Functional Lead & Business Architect to oversee a Dynamics 365 Supply Chain and Commerce implementation for a retail customer. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical knowledge, and leadership skills to drive successful project outcomes.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
1. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring alignment of business needs and technical capabilities.
2. Lead the solution design for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain and Commerce, tailoring it to meet the specific needs of the retail customer.
3. Define and manage the project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business strategies.
4. Develop and maintain key business processes, policies, and procedures within the Dynamics 365 environment.
5. Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional workshops, meetings, and training sessions.
6. Lead the creation and delivery of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and return on investment calculations.
7. Guide the configuration, customization, and integration of Dynamics 365 with other systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, eCommerce platforms).
8. Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
9. Provide thought leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within Dynamics 365 implementations.
3. Extensive knowledge of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain and Commerce, with a proven track record of successful retail implementations.
4. Strong understanding of supply chain and commerce processes, particularly within a retail context.
5. Demonstrable experience in business process modelling, requirements gathering, and solution design.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen.
9. Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365, Azure, or similar technologies are a plus.
