The IBM Client Innovation Centre CIC occupies a unique position in the IT marketplace - at the intersection of business and technology. In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology. As an Associate Functional Business Applications Consultant, you will be able to: * Work with business teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. * Assist in configuring Enterprise Resource Plannning (ERP) applications (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Maximo) to meet business needs * Work with business users to gather and analyze requirements related to ERP modules. * Support day-to-day operations and resolve functional issues within ERP systems. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. * Work closely with other teams (Business and Technical) to ensure seamless delivery of projects and services. * Participate in system implementations, rollouts, and enhancement projects * Support internal audits and compliance initiatives related to ERP systems. * Stay current with product developments, enhancements, and best practices to ensure continuous learning and growth. **Required technical and professional expertise** Core Competencies: * Exposure or basic understanding of one core business area (e.g., Finance, Material Management, Sales and Distribution, Logistics/Procurement) *Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, accounting, commerce, HR, business technical management * Work in a team environment with team members of a diverse background and skill set along with being comfortable working on your own to complete individual assigned tasks. * Able to learn new processes. * Able to work in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support those applications for our highly valued customers. You have strong excel skills and enjoy making meaningful evaluations of a given set of data tables, excel files etc. * Work in a team environment with team members of a diverse background and skill set along with being comfortable working on your own to complete individual assigned tasks. * Awareness of compliance regulations & Industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). * You have basic knowledge or hands on experience in one or more of the following technology areas: Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, DevOps. Additional Skills: * Familiarity with agile methods and scrum frameworks * You enjoy working with the public and have demonstrated excellent customer experience skills. You will have demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and executives. * Good at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing and implementing solutions to complex functional issues.
