Functional Analyst
**local to Atlanta 3 - 4 days a week** Description The Functional Analyst, Sales & Distribution Solutions will work on a strategic, business-focused product team to identify, define, and design solutions to create new and improve current technology offerings for Global Sales. The successful candidate must be a strong leader, understand data and processes, and have excellent problem-solving skills along with the ability to foster and develop strong relationships. This candidate will represent Sales customers (B2B) and act as a liaison between Global Sales & Distribution and IT teams. This individual’s primary responsibility is to process a solid technical understanding of the product, which will allow prioritization of features according to business needs. They will understand the full end-to-end business process and ensure detailed user stories are written that are ready for development when added to the backlog. Additional Skills & Qualifications Responsibilities: • Develop strategic plans informed by customer feedback and industry best practices; adapt quickly to evolving competitive environments. • Collaborate with Product Owners and SMEs to prioritize features based on business value and optimize business processes • Document use cases, process flows, and user journeys to define functional and non-functional requirements. • Demonstrate data curiosity by identifying gaps, gathering insights, and uncovering opportunities. • Support product owners and managers in analyzing data to make customer-centric, data-driven decisions. • Oversee testing plans, bug tracking, and enhancement requests to ensure timely resolution of high-priority issues. • Deliver clear, data-backed recommendations and business justifications. • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies in partnership with IT. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications): • 5-7 years of related professional experience • Experience in creation and design, or management of products, projects, or technology systems • Proven ability to identify problems, opportunities, and trends to propose pragmatic solutions for customers’ needs • Extensive knowledge of product and software development techniques and agile methodologies • Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from feasibility through to production. • Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
