As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within GLOBAL BANKING TECHNOLOGY, the  you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Participates in, design and develop scalable and resilient systems using ReactJS and Java to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams.Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.Creates secure and high-quality production ready UI .Produces or contributes to architecture and design artifacts for applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems.Identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies.Experience in application development, with a focus on creating efficient and user-friendly software.Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect  

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability.Design and develop responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using React, HTML, and CSS, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.Proficiency in using TypeScript to develop robust applications.Implement and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use, ensuring consistency and efficiency in UI development.Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies, and apply them to improve the user experience.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.Strong expertise in JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.jsProficiency in testing to ensure software quality and reliability and user-friendly softwareExperience in building reusable componentsExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages

Experience working closely with product teams to understand business requirementsAbility to collaborate effectively with UX teams to refine design conceptsFamiliarity with modern front-end technologiesFamiliarity of Kubernates , GraphQLUnderstanding of agile practices, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
