**Full Time Security Specialist - Midtown Manhattan** **Pay Rate:** **$24.04 per hour** **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Position Overview** We are seeking a highly professional and experienced **Security Specialist** to support security operations within a corporate or professional environment. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong security background who demonstrate excellent customer service, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere. The Security Specialist will be responsible for access control, patrol functions, and day-to-day security operations while serving as a visible and professional presence on site. **Key Responsibilities** + Monitor and control site access, including visitor check-ins and credential verification + Conduct standing and mobile patrols to ensure safety and policy compliance + Maintain accurate logs, reports, and security documentation + Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, and service requests + Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and stakeholders + Utilize computer-based systems for reporting and access control + Enforce site rules, safety procedures, and emergency protocols + Maintain a professional appearance and calm demeanor at all times **Qualifications & Experience** + **3–5+ years of security experience required** , preferably in a **corporate or professional setting** + **CPR certification required** + **F-01 Fire Guard certification required** + Strong customer service and interpersonal skills + Computer literate with the ability to navigate access control and reporting systems + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to stand and/or patrol for **8–10 hours per shift** + Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently **Why This Role?** + Competitive hourly wage of **$24.04/hr** + Professional, structured work environment + Opportunity to utilize advanced security experience in a corporate setting + Consistent expectations and clearly defined responsibilities \#Triborough Securitas employees come from all walks of life, bringing with them a variety of distinctive skills and perspectives.
