Job Description:

The Package Delivery Driver position is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Package Delivery Drivers must have excellent customer contact and driving skills. Qualified applicants must have a valid driver’s G or higher license issued in the state of Ontario. Package Delivery Drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided vest/uniform.

Job Type: Full-Time

Work Location: 65 Trillium Park Pl Kitchener ON, N2E 1X1

Workdays: Monday to Friday (Flexibility required)

Shift Start: 9:00 AM (Start and Finish may vary based on operational need Flexibility required)

Shift Duration: 8-10 hours per day

Responsibilities and Duties:

Deliver and pick-up packages in an efficient and effective mannerFollow and execute company-established safe/defensive driving methodsAssist with loading/unloading the trucks as requiredRecord, track and maintain information about delivered packages

Qualifications:

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. (32kg)Ability to read and navigate with maps/map booksValid Ontario G Driver’s LicenseClean Driver’s Abstract showing:
a)  No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
b)  No accidents and maximum 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)

Compensation and Benefits:

Working Conditions:
