Objective To maintain the dining facility and to perform general duties in the preparation and service of food on a routine basis and for special events. Required Quals Summary High School diploma or GED. 0-1 year experience in customer service . Knowledge of Word, Excel and mainframe integrated computer systems Special Notes To Applicants This is a 9 month position, mid August – Mid May with the option to work in the summer, as needed. Principal Accountabilities Prepares service lines for meals and cleans serving lines after service. Principal Accountabilities Works on steam table serving line making sure it stays clean and filled during serving hours. Principal Accountabilities Fills ice dispensers. Arranges beverage glasses on serving shelves. Prepares coffee. Fills juice machines. Connects full containers of other beverages when needed. Keeps all equipment clean. Principal Accountabilities Sets up toaster and operates it during the breakfast serving hours. Keeps cereal dispenser supplied. Principal Accountabilities Insures that the flow of returning used dishes and glasses to the dish room window operates efficiently. Principal Accountabilities Replenishes the various areas with supplies and condiments as needed. Maintains the dessert lines. Principal Accountabilities Cleans tables, sweeps, and mops floors. Vacuums and spot clean carpets. Keeps chairs neatly arranged.
Removes garbage from dining rooms’ garbage receptacles, and replace the liners. Principal Accountabilities Performs general cleaning. Cleans spills immediately. Principal Accountabilities Performs duties as required for special events and concession stands. Principal Accountabilities Work in and assist other areas within food service when needed.
