Full Time Case Manager | Housing
Housing Case Manager – Emergency Shelter In partnership with Amergis Healthcare Staffing Amergis Healthcare Staffing is collaborating with a well-regarded nonprofit organization in Haverhill, MA to hire multiple full-time Housing Case Managers. This role plays a vital part in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness by helping them access stable housing options and essential community resources. The organization provides strong training and ongoing support to ensure each new team member is set up for success. Position Details + Locations: Haverhill, MA and Lowell, MA + Setting: Emergency homeless shelter + Schedule Options: + Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM + Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM + One weekly 10:00 AM–6:00 PM shift or one weekend shift included + Contract Length: 13-week initial assignment with a high probability of extension + Compensation: $21–$23/hr, depending on experience Role Responsibilities + Support individuals experiencing homelessness in identifying and securing long-term housing solutions. + Offer continued stabilization services, including mediation between tenants and landlords. + Conduct assessments and interviews with shelter guests after their first five days in the program. + Create individualized case management plans and meet weekly with clients to review their progress. + Coordinate applications and referrals to housing programs, social services, and public benefits. + Maintain clear and accurate case notes and prepare monthly stabilization reports. + Establish and sustain partnerships with landlords, housing organizations, and community providers. Required Qualifications + Experience in human services or customer service preferred. + Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred, though not required. + Valid driver’s license required. + Must pass CORI and driving record screenings. + Individuals with personal experience related to homelessness or housing insecurity are strongly encouraged to apply. + COVID-19 vaccination required. + Must be able to walk stairs and occasionally lift/move up to 30 lbs.
