Our client, a major financial institution is seeking a Java/Angular Developer for Financial Crimes Technology. The team is composed of highly talented engineers who develop industry-leading financial management platforms, enabling regulatory reporting on a global scale. We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Java/Angular Developer to join our group. Job Number: 369706 Job Title: Senior Full Stack Java/Angular Developer (Application Programmer III) Location: Charlotte, NC Schedule: 3 days on site per week, 2 WFH Type: Contract Duration: 12-24 months Rate: $63/hr- $65/hr W2 Only (we can not work c2c/c2h/1099/3rd parties) **Top Skills** • Core Java (7+ years): Multithreading, Collections API, JDBC, debugging, and profiling • Angular (front-end development): Building modern, responsive UIs integrated with backend services • Spring Framework / Spring Boot: RESTful services, Spring Data, annotations, transaction management, and testing frameworks • Performance Tuning: Optimization, debugging, and scaling of high-volume regulatory/financial systems • Agile Development & End-to-End Delivery: Delivering features in Agile/Lean environments, owning full technical delivery, and collaborating with business partners **Responsibilities** • Define, build, and test solutions, often working across multiple projects/workstreams simultaneously • Work closely with business partners to define requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met • Partner with multiple Technology teams to implement target architecture and migrate to strategic platforms • Own and manage end-to-end technical delivery of projects • Drive implementation of key features using Lean Agile methodology • Mentor new team members while maintaining attention to detail • Operate effectively in a highly visible, fast-paced environment where business needs and priorities may shift **Required Skills & Experience** • 7+ years of experience with Core Java (multithreading, Collections API, JDBC) • Knowledge of Java profiling tools • Strong hands-on experience with Angular, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, RESTful services, Transaction Management, and Annotations • Experience with performance tuning of data-intensive applications • Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills • Software development experience in Agile environments • Creative mindset with a track record of implementing innovative technology solutions • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills • Self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight • Ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency and ownership **Nice-to-Have / Additional Knowledge** • Hadoop and Big Data technologies • Prior experience supporting business lines • Development or infrastructure support background • Enterprise stress testing experience • Cloud computing or distributed computing knowledge If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
