Honeywell Aerospace Technology’s “Automation & Digitization” team is looking for a Full Stack Engineering Developer to work in the Digitization Team to support Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and Operations. An ideal candidate for this position will be a self-motivated individual that plays a crucial role in the design, development, and deployment of Ignition-based solutions for our industrial automation projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + Design and implement advanced digital solutions for aerospace applications. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation technologies into existing processes. + Conduct feasibility studies to identify areas for adoption of digital technology. + Support Operations Team + To integrate new and/or existing equipment and interfaces to other MES and SPC utilities as needed + Meet with Operations team members, often in the manufacturing areas to build business requirements and understand the needs + Follow standard established solution architecture and principles + Process Optimization and Automation: + o Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes through the integration and optimization of software solutions. + o Stay updated on latest trends and advancements in software and incorporate relevant innovations into our projects **YOU MUST HAVE** + Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering or related roles. + Experience with programming languages and automation software tools. + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. + Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, C# or C++. + Familiar with communication protocols like MQTT, OPC, Kafka, REST/SOAP API + Experience with Database Platforms like MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres **WE VALUE** + Experience in the aerospace industry or similar high-tech environments. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. + Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automation. + Ignition certified (Inductive Automation) + Experience with equipment programmable logic control (PLC) & industrial robot programming. + Understanding of AGILE practices, experience in all phases of development process + Previous experience in a mentorship or leadership role, guiding junior team members in Ignition development projects + Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, data analytics, and optimization techniques + Knowledge of control systems and process optimization techniques. + Experience with Ignition modules such as Vision, Perspective, MES, and Reporting **ABOUT HONEYWELL** Honeywell International Inc.
