Honeywell Aerospace Technology’s “Automation & Digitization” team is looking for a Full Stack Engineering Developer to work in the Digitization Team to support Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and Operations. An ideal candidate for this position will be a self-motivated individual that plays a crucial role in the design, development, and deployment of Ignition-based solutions for our industrial automation projects. Building upon your established knowledge of Ignition development, this candidate will collaborate closely with our team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers’ requirements and exceed their expectations. The candidate must have strong problem solving and analytical skills in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Design and implement advanced digital solutions for aerospace applications.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation technologies into existing processes.
+ Conduct feasibility studies to identify areas for adoption of digital technology.
+ Support Operations Team
+ To integrate new and/or existing equipment and interfaces to other MES and SPC utilities as needed
+ Meet with Operations team members, often in the manufacturing areas to build business requirements and understand the needs
+ Follow standard established solution architecture and principles
+ Process Optimization and Automation:
+ o Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes through the integration and optimization of software solutions.
+ o Stay updated on latest trends and advancements in software and incorporate relevant innovations into our projects
**YOU MUST HAVE**
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering or related roles.
+ Experience with programming languages and automation software tools.
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
+ Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, C# or C++.
+ Familiar with communication protocols like MQTT, OPC, Kafka, REST/SOAP API
+ Experience with Database Platforms like MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres
**WE VALUE**
+ Experience in the aerospace industry or similar high-tech environments.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to automation.
+ Ignition certified (Inductive Automation)
+ Experience with equipment programmable logic control (PLC) & industrial robot programming.
+ Understanding of AGILE practices, experience in all phases of development process
+ Previous experience in a mentorship or leadership role, guiding junior team members in Ignition development projects
+ Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, data analytics, and optimization techniques
+ Knowledge of control systems and process optimization techniques.
+ Experience with Ignition modules such as Vision, Perspective, MES, and Reporting

The annual base salary range for this position is $104,000 - $130,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
