Key Responsibilities: Develop and Maintain: Design, develop, and maintain backend components of Sadie’s voice AI receptionist platform using Java and prompt engineering skills Logging, Monitoring, & QA: Implement and manage logging solutions to ensure application performance and troubleshoot issues effectively. Continuous refinement by calling into Sadie, determining gaps, refining prompts, and retesting Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features and enhancements. Optimize Performance: Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and security to provide an exceptional user experience. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and industry standards. Deployment and CI/CD: Manage deployment processes and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development workflows. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the smooth operation of our AI-driven solutions. Design and refine conversational prompts to ensure Sadie interacts naturally with customers, accurately collects order details, and maintains each brand’s tone of voice. Lead prompt engineering and conversation flow tuning, ensuring low-friction, high-trust interactions that feel intuitive to customers and align with operational needs. Implement and maintain integrations with customer systems, including IVR routing, email summary delivery, and call transfer/spillover logic. System-integrations, with familiarity of having agentic agents exchanging information with legacy systems in safe and secure manners Lead implementation with new customers, helping from a technology standpoint to stand up Sadie as their unique instance.
