The Opportunity 
This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Lingo Division. Working on Lingo, you will help build a next-generation technology that enables individuals to make decisions about how to improve energy, lose weight or enhance athletic performance.

What You'll Work On:

Build and maintain features across our Next.js web application and Azure Functions backend in a modern TypeScript monorepoDevelop responsive, accessible UI components using React and Tailwind CSSIntegrate third-party services including CommerceTools, Contentful CMS, Auth0, Braze, and payment providersWrite comprehensive tests using Vitest, React Testing Library, and PlaywrightCollaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver seamless customer experiencesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practicesDebug and resolve issues across the full stack, from UI to serverless functionsWork with marketing and analytics teams to implement tracking and customer engagement featuresContribute to our monorepo architecture using Turborepo and pnpm workspaces

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years of professional software engineering experienceStrong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)Hands-on experience building production applications with React and Next.js (or similar frameworks like Remix, Gatsby)Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programmingFamiliarity with modern CSS approaches (Tailwind CSS, CSS-in-JS, or styled-components)Understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility standardsExperience with Git version control and collaborative development workflowsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions)Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure (Functions, Service Bus, Blob Storage) or AWSExperience with e-commerce platforms like CommerceTools or similarFamiliarity with headless CMS systems such as Strapi orContentfulExperience with payment integration and PCI complianceKnowledge of authentication systems like Auth0, NextAuth, or similarUnderstanding of monorepo architectures using TurborepoFamiliarity with testing frameworks: Vitest, Jest, Playwright, or CypressExperience with Docker and containerized deploymentsKnowledge of error monitoring tools like Sentry or similar APM solutions

The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
