Role Summary
Raytheon is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong software engineering fundamentals who is excited to apply their skills to build scaled enterprise applications. This is a hybrid role ideal for someone who can effectively mentor and manage, while also working hands-on as an expert developer and Technical Product Owner to support rapid, high-impact solution delivery.
The ideal candidate is passionate about solving real-world problems using modern tech stacks, has experience leading technical rapid-delivery teams across pro-code and low-code technologies, and has demonstrated success in blended team environments (in-house and outsourced). You will be instrumental in delivering modern, sustainable applications that span complex integrations, strong UI/UX, and scalable architectures.
What You Will Do:
Design and develop full-stack enterprise applications using both pro-code (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and low-code platforms (e.g., Mendix, Power Platform, OutSystems)Develop and maintain technical components, services, and integrations that extend the capabilities of both low-code and pro-code platformsImplement end-to-end solutions including data modeling, front-end UI (Angular, React, or Vue), business logic, and complex system integrationsBuild foundational modules, reusable logic, and frameworks to enable scalable, maintainable application developmentServe as a Technical Product Owner by translating business needs into epics and stories, managing technical backlogs, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with stakeholder prioritiesCollaborate with business analysts, product owners, and development teams to transform functional requirements into robust, scalable technical designsWork closely with Solutions Architects to guide platform standards, architecture patterns, and development best practices across teamsEvaluate and explain trade-offs between pro-code and low-code solutions in the context of scalability, speed, maintainability, and long-term costMentor and manage junior and mid-level developers and low-code business analysts, guiding their technical growth and career developmentLead or contribute to sprint planning, technical design reviews, and delivery checkpoints across internal and external resources.Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience. 8+ years of relevant experience in software development, web development, or computer programmingProven ability to build scalable applications in enterprise environments using modern development frameworksProficiency in one or more high-level programming languages, such as C#, Java, or PythonExperience building full-stack solutions that include data modeling, system integrations, and reusable modulesDemonstrated ability to mentor and manage technical staff, including developers and low-code analystsExperience translating technical trade-offs and concepts to technical and non-technical users and business stakeholdersDesire to work across both low-code and pro-code stacksU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We Prefer:

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
