The ideal candidate will work from home during day shifts contributing to innovative projects in various domains such as Property & Casualty Insurance Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting. Proficiency in English is required. **Responsibilities** + Develop, and maintain high-performance software using Azure, Kafka, and Java. + Collaborate with global teams to implement new features and resolve complex technical issues. + Optimize systems for scalability and performance. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. + Build robust data pipelines and leverage Azure services for secure, scalable apps. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and contribute to meaningful, purpose-driven solutions. **Basic Qualifications** + 8- 12 years of experience + Possess strong expertise in Azure Kafka and Java with a proven track record of successful project delivery. + Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote work environment. + Have experience in Property & Casualty Insurance Governance Risk & Compliance or Finance & Accounting domains. + Exhibit strong communication skills in English both written and spoken to effectively collaborate with global teams. **Preferred** : + Quadient experience **Certifications Required** + Certifications Required Azure Developer + Associate Apache Kafka Certification + Java SE 11 Developer Certification (desirable) Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
