Your role

We’re looking for a client-facing Senior Consultant – Full stack Adobe Commerce Magento Lead with strong hands-on experience in Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce/Magento Open Source). You will work across backend and frontend layers and implement features, integrations, and performance improvements while ensuring operational excellence through robust Incident & Problem Management, data-driven analytics, and expert debugging. This role blends consulting, development, and platform reliability to help clients scale secure, high-performing ecommerce experiences.


Must Have:

Engineering Delivery & SolutioningBuild and customize Magento 2 features (extensions, modules), REST/GraphQL integrations (ERP/OMS/Payment/Tax/Shipping), and storefront experiences (PHTML/Knockout/RequireJS/Less).Execute data migrations (customers, catalog, orders) and environment setup across Dev/Test/Staging/Prod.Strong proficiency in PHP and Magento 2 module development (custom modules, plugins, observers, etc.).Experience with Magento APIs (REST, GraphQL), custom API development, and 3rd-party integrations.Solid understanding of frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React or Angular preferred).Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).Solid understanding of Magento architecture, EAV model, caching strategies (Varnish, Redis), and indexing.Experience with MySQL and writing optimized SQL queries.Strong knowledge of MySQL and query optimization.Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.) for hosting and scaling Magento applications.Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
Analytics, Observability & Advance DebuggingImplement tagging/analytics (GA4/Adobe Analytics), consent management, and A/B testing hooks.Experience with debugging tools (Xdebug, Blackfire, New Relic, etc.).Define and monitor SLIs/SLOs (availability, latency, error rates, saturation); conduct capacity and performance analysis.Perform deep-dive debugging: PHP profiling, slow query analysis (MySQL), cache/indexer issues, CDN/edge behaviors, search relevance (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch).

Nice to Have:
7–9 years of professional coding experience, including 5+ years focused on Magento 2 delivery and operations.Adobe Commerce certification (Developer/Expert) or Magento 2 Certified.Experience with SSR (Angular Universal/Next.js)/Prerendering, lazy loading, code splitting, micro frontends, Storybook, design tokens, CSS Modules/Tailwind, image optimization, and responsive layouts for fast, resilient experiences.Experience with ElasticSearch, Redis, or RabbitMQ.Ability to implement observability: logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana.Image/CDN pipelines, edge performance tuning, and bot/crawl optimization.Experience with Headless Commerce or PWA Studio.Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) and security best practices (OWASP).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes basics, Terraform), and CDN/edge optimization and monitoring (Sentry/Datadog/Dynatrace).
