Description We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Charlottesville, Virginia. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in QuickBooks, strong Excel skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate and organized financial records. Responsibilities: • Oversee and record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision and efficiency. • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy. • Use QuickBooks software to organize and track financial records. • Prepare detailed reports for management to support informed decision-making. • Maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations. • Monitor cash flow and provide updates as needed. • Assist in year-end financial audits and reporting requirements. Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks software. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. • Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Experience performing bank reconciliations. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. • Ability to analyze and resolve financial discrepancies. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and management.
