Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team in Orland Park, Illinois. In this role, you will manage a wide range of accounting and administrative functions to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, exceptional bookkeeping skills, and a proactive approach to office management. Responsibilities: • Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax withholdings. • Utilize QuickBooks for billing, reporting, and forecasting cash flow to improve financial efficiency. • Prepare and distribute detailed financial reports, such as weekly updates for company principals. • Coordinate monthly project invoicing, track overdue accounts, and facilitate electronic client payment processing. • Maintain accurate records for financial transactions, consultant billing, and expense tracking. • Process payroll, manage 401(k) contributions, and oversee vacation tracking and HR documentation. • Support administrative tasks, including vendor coordination, document management, and scheduling. • Ensure compliance with established financial policies and procedures. • Monitor and reconcile bank deposits and accounts to maintain financial accuracy. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping or a related role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Online, for accounting and reporting tasks. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes. • Ability to manage payroll processing and related contributions. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Familiarity with electronic payment systems such as PayPal or Zelle. • Effective communication skills to coordinate with vendors and team members. • High level of proficiency with financial reporting and forecasting tools.
