Tammy Power with Robert Half is looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the financial operations of a well-established company in the Oil & Gas industry located in Seal Beach, California. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with regulations, and efficient management of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and inventory accounting, with a preference for experience in the Oil & Gas sector.

Responsibilities:
• Manage all daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments.
• Track and manage inventory, maintaining precise valuation records and monitoring stock levels.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports for management review.
• Handle payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
• Coordinate with external accountants during tax preparation and annual audits.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budget creation to support operational planning.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role, capable of managing all aspects of accounting independently.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.
• Strong background in inventory management, including accurate reporting and valuation.
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
• Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications for financial analysis.
• Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred.
