Description We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee all aspects of our client's accounting operations. This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles and the ability to work independently while delivering accurate and timely results. Responsibilities: • Handle the complete accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations. • Prepare and review financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. • Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries and making necessary adjustments. • Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant government regulations. • File sales tax to appropriate state • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts. • Monitor cash flow to ensure timely payments to vendors and service providers. • Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable regulations. • Provide financial analysis and generate ad hoc reports to support leadership decision-making. Requirements Requirements: • Proven experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar position. • Great Plains expertise is a must have. • Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with vendors, clients, and management. • Experience with payroll systems and tax preparation/reporting. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
