Description We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Mobile, Alabama. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of managing a wide range of accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. • Perform accurate account reconciliations, including credit card and balance sheet accounts. • Handle month-end close activities, including preparing financial statements and reports. • Monitor cost allocation and ensure proper categorization of expenses. • Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial records. • Prepare and analyze balance sheets to ensure financial accuracy. • Collaborate with management to address any discrepancies or issues in financial data. • Implement critical thinking to solve complex financial challenges and streamline processes. • Adapt to evolving business needs and maintain high standards of accuracy in all bookkeeping functions. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Strong knowledge of payroll functions and full-cycle payroll processes. • Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Experience with account reconciliation, including balance sheets and credit card accounts. • Familiarity with month-end close procedures and financial reporting. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently.
