We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail who can manage all aspects of accounting operations, from accounts payable and receivable to financial reporting and cash flow analysis. Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the full cycle of accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and reports to support business decision-making.
• Conduct detailed cash flow analysis to ensure proper financial planning and allocation of resources.
• Develop and maintain annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Utilize accounting software systems, such as Great Plains and Microsoft Excel, to perform financial tasks efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Collaborate with management to provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
• Process payroll using ADP and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Monitor and enforce internal controls to maintain compliance and accuracy in financial processes.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors when required.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Great Plains and ADP.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to manage annual budgets and perform cash flow analysis.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
