Job Title: Fulfillment Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Fulfillment Technician to join our team in a long-term care pharmacy setting. The role involves filling medications, compounding ointments, and engaging in phone work to confirm dosages with nursing staff. You will be responsible for filling prescriptions for a facility that services 1000 beds, labeling prescriptions, and adhering to pharmacy policies and procedures.

ResponsibilitiesFill medications and compound ointments as required.Engage in phone communications with nursing staff to confirm dosage details.Accurately fill and label prescriptions for a facility with 1000 beds.Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures.Work in either the daily fill or cycle fill departments.Handle daily fill prescriptions for immediate shipment.Manage cycle fill prescriptions for long-term use, including blister cards and bottles.Essential SkillsPharmacy Technician certification is required.1-3+ years of experience in a pharmacy or production-based position.Proficiency in medication handling and pharmacy procedures.Work Environment

The work environment is casual, requiring the ability to stand for long periods. Rotating shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday between 8am and 7pm, with weekend shifts occurring every third weekend. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and t-shirts, with closed-toe shoes mandatory. This position involves working in a long-term care pharmacy, focused on filling prescriptions for nursing homes, assisted living, and group homes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
