Your expertise in Energy & Fuel Accounting will be rewarded with a highly competitive compensation package along with benefits. As an Energy & Fuel Accountant you will be responsible for: * Preparing, reviewing and monitoring fuel energy transaction reports, and activity to ensure transactions have been properly recorded and reported * Preparing accounting entries on ERCOT payable and receivables, miscellaneous receivables, various revenue accounts, etc. and performing research and analysis within those areas * Preparing monthly retail Bad Debt Allowance and Bad Debt Expense and preparing receivable aging reports * Performing complex statistical/variance/trend analysis on accounts/reports
