JOB SUMMARY:
A Fuel Calibration Technician is responsible for performing precise annual calibrations of fuel dispensers across designated sites. This role ensures that all dispensing equipment is accurately measuring fuel volume to meet regulatory standards. The work orders that are handled are both preventative and reactive in nature.

Fuel Dispenser Calibration: Perform annual calibrations of entire fuel dispenser systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsMeasurement Verification: Test and verify the accuracy of fuel volume measurements, adjusting metering equipment as needed to maintain precisionRoutine Filter Changes: replace filters on dispensers during visits to ensure proper product flowFill lid Painting: routine fill lid painting per requirements on a preventative and as-needed basisEquipment Inspection: Inspect dispensing systems for wear, damage, or irregularities and perform necessary repairs or replacementsDocumentation and Reporting: Accurately document calibration data, issues found, and corrective actions taken; maintain calibration logs and reports for auditing purposesCompliance: Ensure all work adheres to regulatory standards, company protocols, and safety requirementsTravel and Scheduling: Travel to assigned sites across the region to complete calibrations, routing daily workload based on priorityCommunication: Maintain effective communication with internal teams, store staff, and external partners to coordinate calibration activities and resolve issuesUniform and Vehicle Maintenance: Follow proper uniform guidelines and maintain the company vehicle, including scheduled maintenance and cleanlinessFollow proper uniform guidelinesEffective in communication with internal and external partnersAppropriately maintain company vehicle and scheduled vehicle maintenanceFollow shift expectation start times defined by AFM. Available to work flexible hours upon request with reasonable notice. May require unscheduled overtime, or response to emergency situationsAppropriately maintain company vehicle and scheduled vehicle maintenanceAble to manage assigned inventory of parts and tools and meet auditing expectations of +/- 1% while also managing appropriate part levelsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: High School/GED (Preferred)
