A day in the life:Identify likely areas of emerging applications and propose applications solutions to product managementPlay a significant role when introducing and supporting new products and applicationsWork with R&D and the Product Manager on new product requirements and early system/performance testingTackle customer partner concerns through in-depth troubleshootingTeam with individual sales professionals to identify and nurture new or target accounts, departments, key influencers according to sales plans.Generate collateral including customer presentations, application notes, and white papers on selected FTIR topicsPrepare and present seminars to wide array of trade shows and technical conferencesPrioritize projects and mentor junior colleaguesPrepare and deliver customer and sales training presentations on various applications and product topicsLead product demonstrations showcasing Thermo Fisher Scientific’s state-of-the-art FTIR technology and applications.EducationBS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similarExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in a related technical roleKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesProficiency in FTIR gas analysis is requiredExperience with chemometrics is helpfulAble to handle multi-tasking, deliveries, and timelinesExcellent organization skill, detail orientedExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsBenefits
