We're seeking an exceptional RN Charge Nurse to join our team at Charlottesville Health & Rehabilitation Center, a 105-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. As a nurse leader, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

As an RN Charge Nurse, you'll be responsible for providing direct care to patients and supervising and directing nursing staff in accordance with state, federal, and MFA guidelines. You'll also communicate patient status to the Unit Manager, assist with patient care planning, and participate in the supervision, orientation, and training of nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to patients and supervise and direct nursing staff in accordance with state, federal, and MFA guidelines.
• Communicate patient status to the Unit Manager.
• Assist in the supervision, orientation, and training of the nursing staff. Participate in the patient care planning conference with other disciplines.
• Identify patient goals and approaches.

Job Qualifications:

• Current license with Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• One (1) year of previous experience preferred.
• Management/leadership experience preferred.
• Requires frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
