Job Description A large defense contractor sitting in Petaluma, CA is looking to hire a REMOTE (FSR) Field Service Representative Instructor I. This FSR Instructor will be apart of supporting the Medium Unmanned Aircraft System group for their UAV platform specifically. This is a fully autonomous air vehicle using a GUI to interface with the Operator. He/she will be invited to Petaluma or various flying sites to begin a six-week training course. Upon receiving certification Field Service Representatives (FSR's) are deployed to Forward Operating Base or Maritime sites to be part of personnel teams. FSR's are trained as Mechanics and/or Operators and assigned additional duties on site. Deployment rotations can vary between 3 to 5 months, with up to several months off before the next assignment. There are very little to no job requirements during the down time and FSR's can live anywhere they choose. This will be a full time role paying between $62,400 - $84,697k/year (depending on years of experience/aptitude). Skills and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline is required or equivalent combination or education, training with 5+ years experience in manned or unmanned aviation either fixed wing or rotorcraft as a pilot, flight engineer or mechanic • UAV operator experience (1000 hours)/Fixed wing experience (500 hours). • Fluent in computers, networking, and various GUI programs. • Be available to do extended OCONUS travel for up to 5-month deployments • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license preferred. • MECH -- UAV experience (3 Years). Rotor experience (3 years). • Active SECRET or TS Clearance level
