We’re on the hunt for a passionate and hands-on Frontline Manager to lead our Potato Lines on Weekend Night Shift. Details Permanent Full Time Hours : Friday 18:30pm – 06:30am, Sat 18:30pm – 06:30am, Sun 18:30pm – 00:30am, Tues 07:00am – 15:00pm Team Size - Up to 40 team members Responsibilities Lead manufacturing operations – Ensure production lines run efficiently and meet daily targets. Manage and develop teams – Supervise staff in processing and packaging, focusing on training and performance. Prioritise health and safety – Create a safe working environment and promote employee wellbeing. Achieve business goals – Meet targets for output, quality, cost, service, safety, people and environmental performance. Drive continuous improvement – Identify areas for improvement and implement plans to enhance productivity. Engage the team – Use clear and regular communication to build a positive, motivated team culture. Control inventory and costs – Monitor materials used and manage costs by tracking and explaining any differences. Qualifications Results & Continuous Improvement - Focused on achieving business goals through continuous improvement and the use of modern process control methods. Team Leadership & Development - Experienced in coaching and leading diverse teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment built on trust. Technical & Compliance Knowledge - Skilled in food manufacturing standards with working knowledge of HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Employee Relations. Familiar with automation, controls, and SAP systems. Financial & Cost Management - Strong understanding of manufacturing cost drivers with hands-on experience managing material and labour budgets. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement - Clear and persuasive communicator, able to influence across multiple departments and levels through effective written and verbal communication. Planning & Problem Solving - Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and proactively remove barriers to ensure smooth operations across teams. Tools & Methodologies - Proficient in Microsoft Excel with preferred experience in Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma practices.
