A Front Office Supervisor ensures the satisfaction of Guests who interact with Reception operations and will keep the Reception Team informed of relevant information and Guest feedback.
What will I be doing?
As Front Office Supervisor, you will ensure the satisfaction of Guests who interact with Reception operations and will keep the Reception Team informed of relevant information and Guest feedback. Front Office Supervisor is responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Provide information, advice and booking services for a wide variety of Guest enquiriesProcess and deliver messages for Guests
Plan, organize and control the daily operations of the Front Office Team to ensure the smooth operation of departmentStay current with all hotel services as well as daily VIP requests and special eventsRepresent the needs of the Team to others in the hotel
Train and the develop Team Members
Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and Guest service
Supervise Front Desk operations during your assigned shift to a consistently high standard
Ensure your shift team have a current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers, as well as daily VIP and special events
Advise your shift team of any special events or VIP Guests in the hotel that day
Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of Team Members with an emphasis on training and team work
Maximize sales revenues through up-selling and marketing program
Manage Guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and completely
Maintain the professional appearance of the Front Desk with a focus on hospitality and Guest service
Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required
Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
