Job DescriptionAt Oaks Brisbane Lexicon Suites, we’re looking for a dynamic and passionate Front Office Supervisor to join our vibrant team! In this full-time role, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a friendly, skilled team, delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, fun environment with a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Oversee daily Front Office operations, ensuring smooth guest services and efficient team performance.
Train, supervise, and support the team, ensuring compliance with Minor Hotels policies, procedures, and service standards. Conduct ongoing on-the-job training and ensure proper induction for new staff.
Manage VIP guest services, address credit issues, and resolve any accounting discrepancies.
Inspect public areas and ensure porter services are efficient and courteous.
Control hotel keys and cash floats, ensuring accuracy and security.
Assist with rostering and staffing, ensuring optimal team levels.
Maintain effective communication on policies, updates, and operational procedures.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment. Actively participate in WHS training and report any incidents or risks. Ensure adherence to all safety equipment and health regulations.
Lead training programs and ensure staff adhere to grooming and uniform standard
Hourly rate: Monday - Friday: $28.87, Saturday: $36.09, Sunday: $43.31
QualificationsPrevious experience in a Front Office or Supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A solid understanding of hotel operations, including cash handling, guest services, and front office systems (CMS).
A passion for providing exceptional guest service and upholding brand standards.
Ability to manage and resolve guest issues with professionalism and efficiency.
A proactive approach to safety and WHS, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for guests and staff alike.
Ability to stay calm under pressure while maintaining a positive team environment.
Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
