The Front Office Associate ensures quality service for guests throughout their stay. He or she is responsible for performing check-in and check-out procedures, assigning rooms, handling reservations, and collaborating with hotel staff. A strong candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, excellent communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a courteous attitude.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience and thorough knowledge of front office operations. He or she must be able to deliver exceptional guest service by efficiently managing check-ins, room assignments, and guest requests while ensuring accurate billing and compliance with hotel procedures. The candidate should also possess strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with hotel services, and preferably one year of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of OPERA is an advantage.
Key responsibilities include maximizing room sales, assisting VIP and pre-registered guests, coordinating with service centers, and maintaining security protocols for room keys. The role also supports operational efficiency through adherence to policies, participation in meetings and training, maintaining organized workspaces, and escalating issues when necessary. Night shift duties include processing early arrivals, settling charges, preparing reports, and managing VIP lists. Additional responsibilities involve compliance with company policies, contributing to departmental efficiency, supporting recruitment and talent development, and upholding brand integrity.
