Job description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Office Agent to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment, ensuring a memorable stay for all visitors.

Responsibilities:

Greet and register guests, providing a warm and professional welcomePerform check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficientlyHandle guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteouslyManage reservations and room assignments using hotel management softwareProcess payments and maintain accurate financial recordsAssist with currency exchange and safety deposit box servicesCollaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfactionPromote hotel services and local attractions to enhance guest experienceAddress and resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional mannerMaintain a clean and organized front desk areaEnsure compliance with hotel policies and safety proceduresAssist with night audit duties when assigned to evening shiftsQualificationsPost-secondary education or relevant qualifications in hotel managementMinimum 2 years of guest relations experience, preferably in a four or five-star hotelStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProficiency in hotel management softwareExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanorAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysBasic math skills for handling financial transactionsKnowledge of local attractions and services in CairoAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamCultural sensitivity and ability to work in a diverse environmentProblem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressureAdditional information
