Job Introduction

Heritage Portfolio are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Front of House Supervisor at the V&A Dundee. As our Front of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth, friendly, and professional operation of food services across in Tatha restaurant and bar, conferencing and hospitality events. 

This is a hands-on role that combines leadership, organisation, and customer service, offering variety and impact every day.  

Hours of work will predominately be 0900 – 1730, however there will be a requirement to support events business in evenings as required.

Oversee day-to-day FOH operations in dining areas and hospitality functionsSupervise and support your team to maintain exceptional service standardsEnsure food safety, cleanliness, and presentation meet company and legal standardsDeliver excellent customer service and act as a visible point of leadership during serviceProvide training and coaching to FOH staffCoordinate service during eventsSupport back-of-house service where needed, fostering collaboration across teamsManage stock control, ordering, and administration including cleaning and temperature recordsEnsure the team upholds all health & safety procedures and allergen protocols The Ideal Candidate

What we are looking for

Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within catering or hospitalityExcellent organisational and time-management skillsNatural leader with strong interpersonal and communication skillsAble to handle fast-paced service with a calm, customer-focused attitudeFlexible approach to shift patterns Ensure that all Health & Safety legislation is carried out correctly and recorded as necessary. This includes all HACCP and COSHH responsibilities, as well as EHO visits, Fire Evacuation Procedure, First Aid at Work and safe working practices at all times.
