Front of House Operations Assistant - Department of Theatre (Temp/Hourly)

The Theatre Department at the University of Southern Maine is seeking applicants for our 2024/2025 academic year Theatre Productions on the Gorham Campus.
Through a wide-ranging production season, interdisciplinary collaborations, community and school outreach, and interactive theatre experiences, the University of Southern Maine’s Department of Theatre (https://usm.maine.edu/department-theatre/) contributes to the rich cultural, creative, and artistic life of the greater Portland area and the state of Maine.
The Front of House temporary position will assist in the operations of ticket sales and patron services for the 2025-2026 academic year and department productions. This position will pay $18.50/hour.
Responsibilities would include:
+ Working with the Audience Services Coordinator to assist with ticket sales prior to and up to the date of performances.
+ Be present at all public facing events and performances to welcome patrons and oversee the smooth transaction of ticket sales and services.
+ Welcome patrons, and assist with any patron concerns.
