Front End Engineer 2 (FEE2), Paragon
Amazon
Description
As a Front End Engineer II, you will design, develop, and maintain the user interfaces for Paragon's core components. You'll work extensively on Paragon Workbench, the main application that agents use every day to help customers—including sellers, vendors, and advertisers—and to investigate fraud cases. Workbench simplifies complex support work by organizing it into clear steps: understanding what the problem is, figuring out how to fix it, and communicating the solution. The interface provides agents with helpful tools at each step, making their work more efficient and effective. Some of these tools are built by our platform team, while others are customized by individual business teams to fit their unique needs.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-quality, responsive, performant, and accessible solutions that serve thousands of customers with varying needs. This position offers an opportunity to make significant technical contributions to a platform that directly impacts business operations across the organization while growing your skills in enterprise-scale front-end development.
Key job responsibilities
* Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications using React and modern JavaScript
* Build reusable components and front-end libraries
* Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions
* Develop and maintain micro-frontend and composable-UI architectures, that enable infinite UI variation without technical debt
* Mentor engineers to grow systems thinking
* Partner with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, product managers, and business teams to translate requirements and designs into functional features, integrate with platform services and APIs, and deliver solutions that meet diverse customer needs
* Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
* Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
* Conduct Code reviews that improve capability, not just code
* Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments
