The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc. The Front Office Supervisor primarily supervises and supports front desk team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations for producing excellent feedback and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate comfortably responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. The Front Office Supervisor will act as a role model, sharing expertise and knowledge while continually inspiring the front desk associates. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to the following: • Maintains a friendly, professional, cheerful and courteous demeanor always. • Ensures Outstanding customer care. • Supervises daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures and are friendly and attentive to guests' needs and service. • Trains and directs the workflow and processes of the front desk. Resolves issues/problems and coaches and counsels the front desk team members to ensure a quality operation. • Consistently resolves guest problems and complaints in an efficient manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency. • Build strong relationships and liaise with all other department's especially housekeeping, reservations, etc. • Controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for personal bank as specified by hotel bank agreement policy. • Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. QUALIFICATIONS: • High School diploma or equivalent required • Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred. • MUST possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. • Ability to multi-task while being detail-oriented and be able to problem solve to effectively deal with internal and external customers. • Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations. • Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary. • Must be effective at listening to understanding and clarifying the issues raised by co-workers and guests. • Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings nights weekends and holidays • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service-oriented manner. • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards). • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. • Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front; always maintain a friendly and warm demeanor. • Be familiar with all in house groups; Be aware of closed out and restricted dates • Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly efficient and courteous manner. • Fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Vision insurance _This company is an equal opportunity employer._ frnch1
