Front Desk Coordinator
Description Robert Half is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our client in South Reno! This is a contract to permanent position in the retail food industry, offering an exciting opportunity to showcase your organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining efficient front desk operations while providing friendly and detail-oriented support to visitors, clients, and employees. Responsibilities: • Welcome visitors, clients, and employees with a friendly and detail-oriented demeanor. • Manage incoming calls by directing them to the appropriate personnel and taking detailed messages when necessary. • Perform general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, photocopying, and preparing outgoing packages. • Handle basic accounting data entry using QuickBooks and Excel, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. • Review and audit daily transactions from retail locations, addressing discrepancies as needed. • Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, coordinating logistics to ensure smooth operations. • Manage the reception area, keeping it clean, organized, and presentable at all times. • Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages efficiently. • Collaborate with different departments to gather and distribute information as required. • Uphold confidentiality and maintain discretion in handling sensitive information. Requirements • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and QuickBooks is beneficial. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Basic math skills and attention to detail are required. • Comfortable handling a multi-line phone system and answering inbound calls. • Commitment to professionalism and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
