Front Desk Coordinator
Job Title: Front Desk CoordinatorJob Description As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors. You will greet visitors, manage visitor clearance, and handle phone call routing. Additionally, you will provide support in maintaining security and order within the facility. Responsibilities + Greet visitors, investigate visitor clearance, issue temporary badges to cleared visitors, and maintain the visitor log. + Route participant issues to the appropriate department and promptly refer complaints to the A&G department. + Ensure employees are wearing their ID badges upon entry. + Answer and correctly route phone calls and respond to basic inquiries. + Send phone call messages via email to staff. + Receive, distribute, and send mail including packages. + Page staff when needed at the front desk and make overhead paging emergency announcements. + Conduct periodic tours of the grounds to examine and secure possible points of entrance. + Monitor security cameras. + Maintain order and safety of personnel during emergencies. + Ensure proper usage of parking for sites with their own parking facility. + Cover lunch breaks of the Transportation Coordinator and backup with basic calls as needed. + Support other sites within the same region as needed. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in customer service and healthcare. + Experience in patient check-in and front desk management. + Fluency in Bengali. + Ability to manage the receptionist role at the entrance and coordinate security responsibilities. + Completion of a Typing Test with 40-45 wpm and over 90% accuracy. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED. + Preferred experience as a receptionist or security guard. Work Environment The role is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. The position is based in a professional environment with responsibilities that include monitoring and ensuring security within the facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Flushing, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
