Front Desk Coordinator
Description We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the front office for a nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate should be personable, meticulous, and capable of effectively managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Greet visitors and provide exceptional customer service while addressing inquiries and directing guests to appropriate staff. • Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and ensure accurate message delivery. • Handle administrative tasks, including scanning, organizing, and filing documents both physically and electronically. • Maintain and update records by uploading documents into profiles and ensuring proper organization. • Assist program and operational staff with clerical and logistical support as needed. • Coordinate front office operations to ensure smooth and efficient functionality. • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for various staff members. • Monitor office supplies and ensure timely replenishment to support daily operations. • Provide concierge services to guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience. Requirements • Proven experience in administrative assistance or front desk roles. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with guests and staff. • Ability to manage and operate a multi-line phone system effectively. • Experience with document scanning, e-filing, and organizing files. • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment. • Warm and approachable demeanor to create a positive front office experience.
