Job Title: Customer Experience Associate
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Customer Experience Associate who will engage with customers, build strong relationships, and possess extensive knowledge of our product offerings. The role involves ensuring each customer receives exceptional service by creating a welcoming environment, educating them on the sales process, assessing their needs, and matching products to their preferences.
Responsibilities
+ Greet and acknowledge each customer while providing them with a friendly and informative environment.
+ Assist clients in selecting slabs that meet their project requirements.
+ Coordinate marketing and outreach efforts to architects, designers, homebuilders, and the general public.
+ Aid dealers, such as fabricators, with the sales and ordering process.
+ Perform duties promptly, including answering phones, organizing the designer room, filing paperwork, and addressing customer inquiries.
+ Attend scheduled training sessions and maintain showroom literature.
+ Maintain showroom appearance and assist with market research and new customer contacts.
+ Attend events and training outside of showroom hours.
+ Provide and encourage outstanding customer service.
+ Assist walk-in clients and customers with product selection.
+ Sell additional product lines and upgrades.
+ Answer telephone calls and maintain existing customer relationships.
+ Walk with customers from the showroom to the warehouse.
+ Tag selected slabs in Stone Profits and verify material availability and location in the warehouse.
+ Follow through with ongoing customer accounts.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in customer service and administrative support.
+ Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Good phone presence and friendly demeanor to walk-in customers.
+ Sales and customer service orientation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ General computer literacy with data entry and internet-based information.
+ Technical sales knowledge of granite, marble, and plumbing fixtures is a plus.
+ Some college-level education or a Bachelor's Degree in a related industry preferred.
+ Minimum of 1 year of customer service and/or inside sales experience.
Work Environment
The work environment is a typical office and showroom sales setting. Employees are regularly required to stand and walk for prolonged periods, with a full range of body movements necessary for handling objects and equipment, bending, reaching, and crouching. Occasionally, bending for filing is required. Employees must be able to work Saturdays and lift up to 25 lbs.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
