Six Flags Fiesta Texas is looking for organized and dedicated individual to join the Entertainment Technical Services Team. This position will be required to operate and maintain a given Haunted House, assist with the load in and set up of Fright Fest 2025, perform daily operational checks/repairs and assist with other department related tasks. This individual will work closely with the technical services team to ensure the smooth daily operation of the assigned haunt and assigned park zones. This position is required to work all Fright Fest operating days which includes Fridays- Sundays with additional operational days. This position will work varying shifts and will occasionally be available special event days and overnight shifts as assigned. This position will require a minimum of 25-30 hours a week with occasional opportunities for overtime.
The Details:Auditions will be held at Six Flags Fiesta Texas (17000 IH 10 West, 78257) in the Entertainment Rehearsal Hall. Arrive any time between 3:45pm and 5:45pm to be seen. Parking for applicants is available in the Employee Parking Lot. Once parked, please sign in and enter through the Security Ranger Station. They will direct you to the audition location. In addition to Haunt Technicians, we are also looking to hire Fright Fest Scare Actors, Gate Keepers & Fright Fest Stage Managers. Stop by any Fright Fest Audition to interview for available Fright Fest positions. Training for various roles begin mid-August and Fright Fest runs through Sunday, November 2nd.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Perform daily operational duties to assist the department in the run of the assigned hauntMonitor guest activities in haunts on CCTV systemsPerform a daily inspection of all scenic elements, lighting systems and special effectsRepair and correct any issues quickly and safely to ensure a safe guest experienceAssist the technical services team in daily operational duties including fog machine refill, lightingcheck and scenic checksCommunicate with the stage management and production management team on any issues or
safety concerns or issues.Responsible for the daily sign off checklists for assigned hauntAssist the Technical Services Team with Load in, setup and load out of Fright Fest 2025Adheres to safe work practices and policies that further the safety culture of the department and
parkMust be available for all scheduled technical rehearsalsMust be available for all Fright Fest Operating DaysWhat it Takes to Succeed:HS diploma, Theater Education (BA) or (BFA) or equivalent experience preferredPrevious experience in the Entertainment/Theme Park Industry preferredStrong motivated team player with a strong ability to multi-taskStrong verbal, written communication skillsMust be able to work on projects independently and in group settingsAbility to work a variety of hours or shift, including weekends and eveningsWillingness to cross train for other operational departments and assist same during specific key
